Musicians


The TITANIC Ensemble consists of 7 renowned professional musicians, amongst them they have earned seven First Prizes and Higher Diplomas obtained at various Belgian Royal Conservatories (in Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia), all of them musicians in symphonic orchestras with a broad and active knowledge, their repertoire’s ranging from baroque to avant-garde, performing regularly in chamber orchestra formations and as soloists. They are all skilled teachers and four of the members are attached to the Royal Brussels Conservatory of Music !

Eric Robberecht, violin

- First Prize for Violin and Chamber Music at the Royal Brussels Conservatory of Music in the class of Georges Octors


- Graduated at the famous ‘Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth’ of Brussels, also with Georges Octors


- First Soloist of the Brussels Opera House Symphony Orchestra (‘La Monnaie’)


- Member of several ensembles, playing a wide variety of styles : the Ensor string quartet, piano duet, the ensembles ‘Musiques Nouvelles’, ‘Prometheus’,…


- Teacher of Chamber Music at the Royal Brussels Conservatory of Music

Christophe Flamme, flute

- First Prize for Flute and Chamber Music at the Royal Mons Conservatory of Music


- Higher Diploma for Flute and Chamber Music at the Royal Brussels Conservatory of Music


- Recorded several CD’s of different styles both as soloist and member of an orchestra


- Founder member of the ensemble ‘Alternance’ :

Eric Liesenborghs, clarinet

- First Prize for Clarinet and Chamber Music at the Royal Antwerp Conservatory of Music


- Higher Diploma for Clarinet at the Royal Antwerp Conservatory of Music in the class of Walter Boeykens


- Graduated as ‘Master in Music’ of the Antwerp University in 2001


- Held the position of ‘Konzertmeister’ of the Walter Boeykens Clarinet Choir


- Gives concerts throughout Europe, in Colombia and Japan


- Teaches Clarinet at the Ghent High School for Arts

Sigrid Vandenbogaerde, cello

- First Prize for Cello and Chamber Music at the Royal Brussels Conservatory of Music


- Higher Diploma for Cello at the Royal Brussels Conservatory of Music


- Freelance Cellist with several Belgian orchestras


- Cellist of the ensemble ‘Musiques Nouvelles’, playing contemporary music


- Gives concerts playing chamber music in Europe and the United States


- Performs regularly as a pop artist playing the electric cello

Pierre Brunello, piano

- First Prize for Piano, Chamber Music and Piano Accompaniment at the Royal Brussels Conservatory of Music in the class of Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden


- Gives concerts in Europe, Japan and Colombia


- Member of several different ensembles : ‘Duo Arpeggione’, ‘Duo Clavitromba’,…


- Composer and arranger of several works for both instruments and choirs


- Accompanist on piano, organ and clavicord in several international music competitions


- Full-time accompanist at the Royal Brussels Conservatory of Music

Louison Renault, percussion
